Two Great Christmas Party Games

The office Christmas party is an popular event that companies either choose to keep simple; for example small businesses tend to retreat to a local pub after work for a pre-festive drink and maybe lunch, where as larger firms tend to hire out venues such as function rooms and hotels.

As many staff look forward to this annual event, it is essential that key areas are looked upon such venue size, location, quality of food and catering service available (use the internet to view previous reviews or testimonials of venues) or ask friends and colleagues for recommendations.

By arranging a well known and respected catering company to supply the food at your xmas party you can be assured your staff wont be unhappy with the food. Unless you are arranging your own Private Catering you still want the grub to be great!

Xmas parties are notorious for bringing people out of there shell, especially after a few drinks. Liven up your party by including some entertainment such as a disco and fun games.. Here are two of the most common games to play:

Secret Santa: A few weeks before the party place all the names of the people attending in hat and  pass round so that each person has to pick a name out. Keeping the name anonymous from others, you will then be required to buy a suprise gift for that person, i usually spend upto a fiver.
During the christmas party each gift will be given out, resulting in every person having no idea who bought there gift!

Name That Christmas Song: is where everyone is divided up into equal groups and then given a pen and paper, using a stereo or if asked nicely the disco DJ, play a selection of three second cuts of top xmas tunes and get each group to right down the artist and title name, the winning team with the most correct answers can then win a prize.
