It’s normal for online gaming beginners to feel a bit overwhelmed because it all looks so daunting. It often seems like everybody you encounter is already well versed in the game and has no patience for “noobs” like you. Just wrapping your head around it all can be a tall order. Trying to get others who’ll play with you is tough. When you are playing it’s like you’re always bringing up the rear. Oh – are you a lefty? And have you been blowing off getting that left-handed mouse? You’re gonna need one – stat, but no worries about that. We’ll be discussing a few proven online gaming tips so you can enjoy your leisurely pursuits even more.
If you are left handed then you are definitely going to want to buy one of the left handed mouses that are available. To make your life even easier, get yourself an ambidextrous keyboard. This is a type of keyboard that can be altered to meet your requirements, as it comes in two parts. There are gaming keyboards as well, and you can even find one that ‘s made specifically for left-handers. While these keyboards can give you more agility when you play, you will have to pay more for them.
Make a serious effort to be a respectful part of the team. MMORPG’s are very much alike any team sport. You need to be able to take directions from people more experienced than you. You should also be ready to step up and give directions when the situation calls for it. The concept of the team in sports, or other areas, is that the goal is for the team to win, and sometimes that necessitates making sacrifices for the good of the team. Think about it, though – if you are too rigid and not willing to cooperate or play with the team, then people will eventually stop playing with you. Try to keep the team’s best interest and enjoyment as your priority.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. No question about feeling weird if you’ve never played with a leftie mouse and the shortcuts thing. If you can find one, ask someone else who is left-handed for any tips or pointers. After you’re done playing, it’s always a great idea to ask the person if they can offer any constructive criticism. People love feeling needed and that they’re good at something, so that’s why it’s not hard to find others willing to give you some friendly advice. When you’re no longer a n00b, you will do the same to others and help them.
The whole point to online gaming is to have fun. Little did you know, but that is how they are designed to be – fun.
