3 Fundamental Features Of A Reliable Leg Gun Holster For Paintball Sessions
When I’m going into a paintball game, I am going in completely prepared head to toe. My gear includes my favorite Skeletor mask which was a present from my partner, who is also a paintball freak. My gear also can include a modular tactical vest complete with Chums ( Pouch Attachment Ladder System ) so I will attach and store lots of significant paintball related stuff like lipstick, mascara and a pellet mag or 2.
I also carry around a custom-made rapid fire marker with rail tactical LED lighting for night games, a pistol marker and its leg gun holster. Our paintball sessions cover quite a big area and takes up almost half the day so its ready to go prepared.
Wear Comfort
In reference to gear, we each have our own {preferences|likes and dislikes|individual choices|. For instance my partner hates my drop leg gun holster. He prefers his gun shoulder holsters. He likes to run a lot so he is saying a thigh holster just slows him down. I do not do much running so it doesn’t affect me in any way.
That said , it is important to get one that fits easily on your thigh. Ensure that once its strapped on, it does not move around simply. Some leg holsters have an inclination to move around even after being strapped on tight. The holster design that I selected has a split hanger design which contributes to better stability when worn.
Marker Fitting
Before purchasing a leg gun holster, confirm it can fit your marker. The one I have can simply be adjusted to fit any marker due to its clever universal design. In fact it is designed in such away that it can accommodate a marker with a tactical light attached.
I might suggest trying it out with your marker just to be safe. I ordered mine online but I wrote in to ask if the holster could fit my marker {model|make|design). They guaranteed me that it might fit and were kind enough to forward me a video link on how to custom fit the universal holster to any marker.
Useful Features
Before purchasing any holster, keep a lookout for features which could save you time or even save your life. As an example, holsters with quick release mounting straps and detach buckles helps when you want to dump the holster in critical situations.
Having a thumb break on your leg gun holster is sure to be a good thing to secure your marker in place as well as for fast release for marker retrieval. If you have got a custom-made holster, you may prefer a button thumb break as an alternative. But for those that have multiple marker models, a Velcro or hook and loop thumb break would be a more acceptable alternative.

If it is your first time buying drop leg holsters, gun shoulder holsters or tactical gear of any type for your paintball sessions, always buy from a source that provides a lifetime guaranty. At the very least you can be one hundred percent certain of its quality.
