Some may regard it as a luxury item, but as an ultrasound technician I find it as a necessity. Thanks to my high salary that makes it easy for me to acquire such expensive item and I don’t have any regrets since it is a very worthy investment. The iPad2 was released before the buzz over the first Ipad died down making people wonder what the differences were between the two. Apple has worked hard to cultivate a reputation for creating devices that are both lightweight and well designed. The primary complaint people voiced about the first iPad, though, was that it felt bulky when it was carried around. Things like watching videos, editing videos, going through photos, etc use up lots of memory so having double the memory capacity makes the device quite a lot more powerful and capable of lots of stuff. Original iPad owners might not find this detail worthy enough to consider an upgrade but if you're a first time buyer, it can make the iPad 2 quite a lot more appealing.

If you're thinking about getting an Apple iPad 2, it's best to think of it as a luxury item rather than a necessity. There's nothing wrong with buying something just because it's fun or cool, as long as you don't expect it to replace a notebook computer, which it can't really do. Even smartphones have most of the features that an iPad does, so you don't really buy an iPad for its unique capabilities. At the same time, it's generally more pleasurable to browse the web or watch videos on the iPad's high resolution screen than on the much smaller one on your phone. Similarly, it can be more fun to play with the Multi-Touch on your iPad than to use the typical touchpad of a notebook computer.

Sure it's not totally perfect but there are still a lot of reasons to buy an Apple iPad 2. As long as you don't require flash capabilities and don't expect the two cameras to work miracles or anything, you can still have a perfectly lovely time tinkering online, watching videos and even video chatting with your friends via the FaceTime feature. You shouldn't rely on the Apple iPad 2 as your primary electronic device, but you can do lots of interesting and enjoyable things on it all the same.
